Quality time well spent

So the long weekend is finally over, we are going back to work and the kids will go back to the school tomorrow! It has been a wonderful weekend as we are here for each other, doing things together, before daddy gets busy next week! Our plan to go back to Melaka didn't work out since mil was away and our fear for bad traffic. So we made it to PM's open house instead! We had been saying to visit an open house since many years ago and finally we made it this year. It will be the most unforgettable experience I swear. We set off early morning to take a shuttle bus to crash the place and people were already making a beeline to enter the residence. How blessed I was to have a young baby so I was allowed to enter with the kids thru priority lane. It was hubby who spent a long time waiting in line to go thru the security check. Poor hubby who sacrifices a lot for us, he said this is for us especially with the kids to experience it and we thought it should be once in a lifetime memory. But I may be wrong, my father saw the pics we shared and commented that he would want to come too next year.

Then yesterday we thought of taking the kids to a free water park at KLCC. It was raining when we reached there, so the kids didn't get to play. The father took them to Aquaria instead. I have no idea how many times my kids have visited the Aquaria and waterpark. But they surely have good memory that they remember they have been there with their aunties.

Both places we went were jam-packed with holidaymakers. Hubby thought we should have a strategy when we are traveling abroad with the kids, without car. Reason being, with his backpack at his back, he won't know if he gets pickpocketed. And this is worrisome! So he thought we should make a small trip like Bangkok before going on a big one. But we just got back from there earlier this year. In his defence, it is different because we had a lot of part-time nannies who helped us thru out. My hubby can be quite hilarious sometimes.
