On another note, our last weekend was very eventful. But also quite a heartache for me. It has been so long since our last visit to IKEA food court. Everyone was excited! But Xuan lost the digital pet we got for him. The pets have been lying quietly at home and out of a sudden, he decided to bring them out. The second day, one of them cannot be found, until to today. I'm upset because they were brought in to Malaysia so far away from Japan by my sis' bf and they are not cheap. Coming home, the father decided to paint the wall. Without changing the clothes, the duo decided to help the father and stained their new shirts and pants. Everyone who knows me should know that I'm a real minimalist, I do not change our wardrobe often and most of the times, my kids' clothes are gifts from family and friends. While I'm still heartache that those shirts and pants got stained, my hubby told me not to cry over something we cannot mend. Hmm.........

Feeling heartache
Over the weekend, XY has achieved quite a big step in her life that one, she was busy climbing the stairs and finally made it up to upstairs all by herself. Second, she keeps saying ma-ma, I won't know if she means me or mum-mum as in food. But since she is such a foodie, she probably means food. Having her as no 3 also means that we have become ZEN parents. The brothers adore her so much that they feed her whatever they eat, which includes junk food like ice cream and biscuits. Without hubby and me supervising, the boys feed her and she happily takes it. What makes it worse, she asks for more. It's too bad that she enjoys the flavourful table food at this young and early age.
On a vacation
My sil is on an all-girl vacation in Korea. Like Taiwan and Japan, Korea is a destination people always choose to revisit. At least the big sis in my house loves to have her girl-trips there too. We were in Seoul in October 2014 and the weather was perfect. Everything was pleasant even the two kids. Because of that, I fell in love with the place and its food, so I swear I should go back someday. The someday will be a long time to come.
Meanwhile, I'm also on my weekend getaway which comes with some work commitment. Working over the weekend has not been something new in my job, the only difference is, I'm out of town, in the down south of KL, hundred kilometers away. My kids are already missing me at home. Xuan has been telling me how much he misses and loves me so I should go back now. He says, mummy please come home. Come come come! He has a tame heart, a heart that easily wins people around. Cheng, on the other hand, while video-calling, was telling me, he wanted to have the vitamin on the stove. Both of them wanted to tango me last night while they were out for supper. But they just fell asleep before reaching home. It has been a tiring weekend for hubby to look after the kids all alone. The good news is, it has been a breeze for him although he has a lot more to do on cleaning up the mess after the flash flood episode. I can't wait to see them! My sayang...
When mummy is away
I must give a thumbs up to hubby for handling the kids well over the weekend. He even took the kids for the Thomas and Friends show at one-u. I did not know he has had a bad day yesterday, the water tank at my house decided to die on us and burst. When he came back from picking up the kids, our house flooded and the plaster ceiling got all wet. It will be many months later until we repaint the ceiling. Same goes to the our flooring. This is just too sad. I feel bad that hubby has to go thru this alone, he said he was upset but the kids were happy. Yeah, my kids' eyes sparkle when they see water.
Closure for November 2015
The past two weeks had been a very busy and stressful time for us because our house underwent quite a major renovation where we extended our wet kitchen to a small space at the backyard. It was so dusty that we had to wipe the floor everyday we came home from work. Now that the work is over, we are on another mission to scout for a new set of cabinet. But that's not all yet. We also have to build a pergola at the sliding door. I already look forward to the days that we have our afternoon tea overlooking the colorful then kindergarten house. So it's gonna be a long time until everything is completed. Anyway, I have finally resolved a dream that had been bothering me so much. It is a railway station at white men's place but I couldn't recall where it is. It could be probably a scene that I saw in some movies or maybe some places that I went for short stay. I tried so hard to remember, thinking it could be Amsterdam or Vienna. But now, I have found the answer. It's the railway station in Perth. I have no idea my memory has failed me so much.
traffic congestion is unacceptable here...
i dun mean to condemn the local authority here but i swear they owe us a very damn good and reasonable explanation.
there is always a massive traffic jam after work due to some ongoing renovation and repair work at putrajaya exits. but it is also another disappointment when i found no work was carried out on weekends despite the very low traffic volume. generally, all utility work should done during off-peak hours to ease traffic congestion. thats the simplest common-sense knowledge. but the contractor might hav wanted to save cost to avoid paying double-labor charge or whatsoever so i spend abt 30mins and more everyday, wandering around putrajaya just to get my way home. thats ridiculous and its gonna stay on till the 30th of june.
traffic jam has become part and parcel of my life!!! cool, aint it?
budget speech...
if only i could get monetary bonus...
im gonna......... save the money for my new house renovation work.. huh!!
