Xuan asked me why do we call nurses jururawat in Bahasa? Is it because they merawat patients? My answer to him is a yes, so he said, juruwang is because they have a lot of money? So why is engineer called jurutera? What does tera mean in BM?
Following his logic, he said waiter should be called juru-tunggu. I argued that it’s pelayan and he questioned me, why isn’t it jurulayan? I feel breathless to explain and I argue, he has too many whys in his head...
