missing the father

My kids and I are literally very clingy to hubby that when I went for my bff trip, I subscribed to overseas roaming so that we could video call each other most of the times regardless where we were. My buddies were laughing at me, teasing me that luckily it was just a 3-days-2-nights trip. On the other hand, every time he goes away, the kids and I miss him so much. But I don’t really have time to think about it because I will be too busy looking after the kids and at the same time, trying to keep the house clean at his level. It’s the kids that always miss their father and the crying episodes can be really bad, which I don’t really bother! The father misses them too that video calls are very often. Some pet peeves when the kids see the father on the screen are, did your flight come with screen? Did u watch any program? Show me the toilet of the hotel you stay? Is there a bath tub? Some boys will be upset if they find out he has watched some movies in his flights. And most of the times, the father will shorten his trips by changing the flight time if his meetings finish early as he won’t mind to take the trouble to change train or even flight just to be with us back at home. I think the homesickness is real.
