Superdad

I wouldn’t understand why hubby insisted to cook for us even during weekend. He said, my kids hardly have the chance to try my homecooked meal ever since they come home after dinner at the nanny’s. Let me take the trouble to cook for them during weekend. So there he is, busy at the kitchen to prepare food for us. I always agree with the statement that the spouse we choose has a shadow of our parents. My hubby is exactly like my dad that he loves to read and stays home most of the times. I wouldn’t pick him if he is too sociable because I can’t accept men who don’t stay home. My hubby can really cook up a feast, of which the chicken rice with dried oysters and nasi lemak are among the best. His soups are very nice too and they get improved over time. I’m not ashamed to tell my close friends that I do not cook at home. Although mum will nag me every time she finds out. My hubby is just talented at the kitchen that even my mil loves his vege dishes and insists him to cook for her. Today, he told me something touching yet funny. I think he really thinks too far ahead. “You know, the kids always tell me they miss my food especially soup. I have to be diligent and keep up to it that one day when they are far away from home, they will come home to tell me they miss my soup. Don’t you agree?” My hubby is really用心良苦。
