People had been making guesses about the sex of our baby. We wouldn't know it for sure although the doctor told us during our visit before the Europe trip that 80% of the chances would be a girl. He asked us to stock up baby girl clothes during the mum and baby expo. Then the assistant suggested us wait for the raya sale. At the subsequent visit, the doctor said the probability of having a girl increased another 10%, making it 90%. Hubby asked him the balance of 10%. The doctor wanted us to wait until the baby came out.
A few weeks ago, there was pureen sale at mid valley so I grabbed a set of pink clothes for the baby. While we were about to check out, we found there was no price tag on the shirt so we could not proceed with the purchase. I almost gave up. But hubby went to look around and found the tag and made the payment. He said he is being fair to all his children that everyone gets to go home with new clothes. On the other hand, he also asked me to get another set of unisex shirt in case we came home with a boy.
So there it is. Like Cheng, this baby has 2 sets of new clothes to celebrate her homecoming. Then she is going to wear the brothers' hand-me-downs.
