This raya break has been considered quite a favorable one because it falls on Monday and Tuesday, rite after weekend, a really long break. I recall those days if I were not married, I would have gone back to hometown or flown abroad for a short getaway. Now that we are staying put in kl, it is also a good option because most places will be congested except the city centre. So hubby has been away for this long break, leaving behind myself and kids for Melaka. I dun have a car here, it has been tough staying at home doing nothing. My bro and his gf have been kind enough to chauffeur us. We become their spotlight and tail, doing some window shopping at the malls. Then my sis came over to keep my company. I feel blessed for having them around. They have been my great support without me asking. I'm very grateful.
Today my bro took me to a vege restaurant operated by his fellow tzu-chi. He carried cheng to meet the seniors while waiting for me to finish my meals. The auntie asked cheng, "where is mummy?" To my surprise, cheng turned and pointed at me. I'm amazed that cheng despite looking so mischievous, he hears, he knows and he understands us. And he also has quite a temperament where if we do not give in, he will make a big fuss- lying on the floor and crying, not easy to stop at all. Having cheng has taught hubby and me a lesson- every kid is very different...
