1, 2, 3... yean's posting, parliamentary work, volcanic ash...

my mind is a mess...

i would like to extend my warm welcome to yean who has just joined the service and i foresee a war between us in 10 or 20 years from now if neither of us quits the service. reason is, she is technical ppl and im fr management...

i succumbed to exhaustion after a full few days working at the parliament. then myself went into hibernation over the weekend but i still din fail to turn up at midvalley, as one of my weekend's must-go places. the parliament session was a total chaos and nothing was interesting as ever. weird? yeah, to be on duty at the parliament once in a while is superb and i love it!! but im thankful for not working at the corporate sector for i dun hav to be stationed there everyday. that said the nature of work is no easy, everything is in a rush, everything is urgent, he whom cant take it wil hav high blood pressure=P. i hav been thinking the difference between the civil service and government service. then i made a conclusion to myself that civil service is to serve the ppl while gov's is to serve the ppl who makes up the gov. is that correct? i dunno... but i like to make my own conclusion, i love to exaggerate and whatever it is, who cares.

on duty at parliament wiv buddies at office... i dun like this sleeky hair without textures, gonna get a haircut wiv some hightlights but im so chicken-hearted...

mr.tok's trip to germany has been postponed due to the airspace closure in the europe. the company has rescheduled his trip to early or mid-may so this guy is upset cuz he wont be able to catch the thomas cup updates. then the smart wife came out wiv an idea of tape-recording the session so that he could replay it when he is back. the problem is, how to tape it down? somehow the recording of this game is different fr kc's recording of taiwanese entertainment program. ok, this guy wants to get me a lv neverfull if i must say. then wei went further to lure me into the temptation cuz euro is quite weak and she plans to get a monogram while i'll get a damier. damn, wei is such a devil... hahaha...

on an irrelevant note, i read an article and found sthg interesting to share wiv:
