the other day, myself and tok were rambling abt our soon-to-come married life and the path to our future. all of a sudden, i blurted out a question to him, "what abt having babies?"
then silence filled the air. his face drawn into a brooding expression, the eyes turned bigger and rounder, and said, "its not abt providing milk and diapers, its also abt the education, his positive attitudes that we should nurture..."
muffled again.
and continued, "but baby is a gift and blessing fr god..."
soon, the conversation deviated to other things... but i was kinda moved to hear him say baby is a blessing. many ppl are trying hard to conceive... yet, a lot of abandoned babies are being left to die...
